September marks the launch of the first training sessions dedicated to ISO 22000 for our teams!

Objectives:

✅ Understand and implement best practices in food and pharmaceutical safety;

✅ Contribute to the analysis and monitoring of the HACCP plan;

✅ Raise awareness and support teams;

✅ Bring the approach to life every day by giving meaning to everyone’s role.

Our pilot team, made up of employees from different departments and professions, is now becoming the ambassador of this initiative.

Because food and pharmaceutical safety is everyone’s business, we choose to train, engage, and empower our teams to move forward together.

Step by step, our goal is for 100% of employees to be trained and aware, contributing collectively to reaching new summits. ⛰️

This year, La Rochette Cartonboard is joining forces with FSC and many committed organizations around the world to promote responsible forest management from 20 to 26 September.

FSC®, an international non-profit organization, provides strict and reliable solutions to safeguard the world’s forests, tackle deforestation, protect biodiversity, and address climate challenges.

Today, more than 160 million hectares of forests are FSC-certified, based on recognized environmental, social, and economic criteria.

🔎 Throughout the week, we will share what FSC certification really means in practice and highlight a collaborative project that contributes, at our level, to forest preservation.

☀️ Summer is also the time for major maintenance projects at La Rochette Cartonboard!

Among the key projects this season: the replacement of the upper pipeline of the biomass boiler.

A technical operation successfully carried out thanks to the commitment and teamwork of our partners Salletaz, Mediaco, and our maintenance teams.

As part of the momentum launched last March, July 22nd was marked by three key meetings, bringing our employees together around a common goal: a mid-year review of our “Reaching New Heights” strategy.

This day was an opportunity to:
– Assess the evolution of our market
– Review our performance
– Engage in meaningful exchanges with the teams
– Reinforce our shared vision for the remainder of the year

The Executive Committee and members of the Sales team shared concrete progress on our 2025 strategic priorities.

Together, we’re reaching new heights! ⛰️

Wednesday, July 17, eight of our employees successfully completed their Lean Management training as part of the Yellow Belt certification. 🟡

This third and final training day focused on flow management and process mapping — essential tools for analyzing and improving our operational performance on the ground.

🎯 Objectives of the day:

Strengthen knowledge to obtain the Yellow Belt certification

Learn to map processes in order to identify optimization levers and implement them effectively on site

Together, we move forward every day Towards New Summits! ⛰️

On Wednesday, July 9th, we had the pleasure of welcoming our shareholder, alongside the Management and teams, for a site visit followed by a discussion around our strategy “Towards New Summits”.

This meeting was marked by constructive exchanges, highlighting the alignment between our long-term vision and the concrete actions already underway.

It further strengthens mutual trust and support around our strategic directions, driven by a sustainable customer approach, a recognized multi-sector positioning, and a commitment to operational excellence implemented daily by our teams.

📰⛰️ A Press Review Towards New Summits!

Last April, we shared a press release with the media and all our stakeholders to announce the launch of our “Towards New Summits” strategic plan.

This initiative marks a new chapter aimed at accelerating our transformation, strengthening our position in Europe, and paving the way for future growth by 2027.

This release led to several interviews and the publication of articles across various media, both in print and digital formats.

Together, Towards New Summits!

On Friday, June 13, we were present alongside OPCO 2i at the Avec l’industrie® stand during the first edition of the Indus’Festival trade show at the Haute-Savoie Exhibition Center (Rochexpo).

It was a day full of great encounters and meaningful exchanges, particularly with young people eager to learn more about careers in the Paper/Cardboard industry.

It was also an opportunity to introduce the general public to our history, expertise, and career opportunities.

This event was a great showcase for the local industry!

La Rochette Cartonboard strengthens its commitment to road safety for its employees by signing the Charter of 7 Commitments for Safer Roads, in partnership with the Prefect of Savoie.

Road risk is a complex issue, due to the wide range of causes and contexts that can lead to accidents. As an employer, it is essential to consider road safety by raising awareness among all road users, including employees.

We are committed to:

• Sharing government awareness campaigns and materials from the Road Safety Delegation with our employees;
• Regularly conducting information initiatives to promote and uphold the 7 commitments.

Following a first awareness campaign held from May 12 to 16 as part of Road Safety Days, new actions will be launched soon!

Together, committed to safer roads — towards new summits !

Raising awareness among young students about careers in the paper and board industry also means preparing for the future!

As part of the Alp’paper working group, which brings together paper and board industry players in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region—and under the initiative of Industrie Papier Carton / AFIFOR—educational workshops are being held in primary schools across Isère and Savoie, near our industrial sites.

We had the pleasure of representing La Rochette Cartonboard during one of these workshops at La Neuve School in La Rochette, with a CM1 (4th grade) class.

This moment of exchange was an opportunity to:
✅ Promote our industry and its know-how
✅ Introduce children to paper/board-related careers
✅ Spark curiosity about sustainable materials

These workshops are structured into 4 key phases:
• Everyday uses of paper and board
• The history of the “paper trail”
• Paper manufacturing processes
• Environmental protection in the industry

A big thank-you to Industrie Papier Carton for organizing these workshops!
