We are fully committed in supporting our customers in the reducation of single-use plastic packaging, by providing intelligent board products which replace plastic usage. In parallel we are regularly updating our production to further reduce the environmental impact. Using local barks, a waste product of the wood industry to generate electricity with our biomass boiler our products have a very low CO2 emission level.

To reduce the usage of chemical pulp, which is often transported over long distances with a high level of chemical adaptives, our production is using more than 65% of mechanical pulp, wood chips which are again a side product of the local wood production. Recently certified ISO 50001, an international standard on energy management, the mill works constantly to reduce raw material, energy and water consumption. By nature our board product is a sustainable and reyclable product, through additional measures (LED lights, sustainable energy, regional suppliers etc.), we regularly work on further reducing our CO2 footprint.

This is also why we recently installed an additional 1500 m³ waste water tank to ensure the best level of water treatment.
