Our FBB GC2 products
Our products are all multilayered Folding Box Board, produced in La Rochette’s mill. The core of our board is made from mechanical pulp, bleached and unbleached, produced from woodchips coming from La Rochette area (max 150 km). The external layers are made from chemical pulp, carefully selected especially regarding the traceability of the pulp origin.

Completed with double coating layer, it confers to our board all the properties needed for good printability and converting.
Rochcoat, Rochfreeze and Rochperle are GC2 product, a Folding Box Board with a cream backside. Rochblanc and Rochcoat Blanc are our two grade of GC1, a Folding Box Board with a white backside.
Rochcoat
Rochcoat is a GC2-coated FBB with cream back side, made with mechanical pulp in the middle layers and bleached chemical pulp in the external layers. A double coating layer on the top side gives to Rochcoat all requirements for a good quality of printing and varnishing.
Rochcoat is a folding box board (FBB) designed for all kinds of application in packaging. Its neutral taint at the Robinson test and its aptitude on direct food contact for almost all kind of food, make Rochcoat the best choice for this kind of application. Rochcoat can also be used in the health and pharmaceuticals industry where its strength properties, brightness value, suitability for inkjet and laser coding are a real asset.

Rochfreeze
Rochfreeze is a GC2-coated FBB with cream back side and a reinforced-sizing treatment for a higher water resistance. Made with mechanical pulp in the middle layers and bleached chemical pulp in the external layers, Rochfreeze has the same mechanical properties as Rochcoat. Rochfreeze has all requirements for a good quality of printing and varnishing, including also suitability for inkjet and laser coding, thanks to its double coating layer on the top. With a reinforced sizing treatment and its aptitude on direct food contact for almost all kind of food, Rochfreeze is specially designed for application where moisture resistance is essential like frozen or chilled foods.

Rochperle
Rochperle is a GC2-coated FBB with cream back side with a grease barrier on the backside and a reinforced-sizing treatment for a higher water resistance. Rochperle offers both water resistance and a grease barrier of 8 according to Kit test. As all our FBB grade, Rochperle is made with mechanical pulp in the middle layers and bleached chemical pulp in the external layers. Thanks to its double coating layer on the top, Rochperle has all requirements for good quality of printing and varnishing, including also suitability for inkjet and laser coding. With a reinforced sizing treatment, a grease barrier of 8 and its aptitude on direct food contact for almost all kind of food; Rochperle is specially design for food application with fatty foods or frozen / chilled foods.

Rochcoat Blanc
Rochcoat Blanc is a GC1-coated FBB with white backside. The core of Rochcoat Blanc is made with mechanical pulp in the middle layers, then completed with bleached chemical pulp in the external layers. Thanks also to its double coating layer on the top and a higher brightness on the back side, Rochcoat Blanc is the perfect balance between mechanical properties and visual aspect needed for packaging.

Rochblanc is a GC1-coated FBB with coated white backside. Savoycoat
Savoycoat is a GC2-coated FBB coated on one side with a cream-coloured reverse side. The heart of Savoycoat is made up of mechanical pulp: these are the inner layers of the board. These are then supplemented by chemical pulp on the outer layers. Savoycoat has increased rigidity thanks to a special formulation and process. It is an ideal board for folding cartons with low printing requirements, such as pastry boxes or other food applications with light printing. It has all the properties needed to guarantee excellent printing and varnishing quality. It is also suitable for inkjet and laser coding. With its neutral taste in the Robinson test and its suitability for direct food contact with almost all types of food, Savoycoat is ideal for food contact packaging.

Finishing and sheeting
The cartonboard, once produced, is directed to the warehouse or undergoes further processing. Following customer requests it can be rolled into smaller reels for direct dispatch or sheeted and packaged in the desired sheet formats.
Reels, small reels or sheets, following customer requests, are finally wrapped and labelled: ready to be delivered.
