On Tuesday, December 2nd, as part of Industry Week (with a 15-day extended period), we had the pleasure of welcoming 10 students from the BTS Water Professions program and 10 students from the BTS Process Industries program at Lycée Louis Armand in Chambéry for an immersive tour of our plant.

On the agenda:

– A focus on our water management led by Claudio PEREIRA, Environmental Technician;

– A presentation of our HSEE practices by Fabienne FARINA, Health, Safety, Environment & Energy Manager;

– A hands-on introduction to the Paper & Board industry through our industrial facilities and our 150-year history.

This visit was made possible thanks to funding from OPCO 2i, whom we warmly thank for supporting connections between educational institutions and the industrial sector.

👉 A key moment to inspire tomorrow’s talent in the industrial field!

👉 100 sheets of Rochcoat 300g, manufactured locally in Savoie, France, were provided to produce 300 collection boxes created by students from the Packaging Engineering Bachelor’s program (BUT PEC) at the IUT of Chambéry.

These collection boxes were placed in local shops across Savoie as early as November 2025 to help raise funds for AFM Téléthon Savoie, while also raising public awareness and reminding everyone of the Téléthon campaign period.

The Téléthon, an association created in 1987, supports people affected by genetic diseases and rare disorders:
✅ 3 research centers in France
✅ 350 research programs and 40 ongoing clinical trials
✅ Development of treatments with promising results
✅ Support for 3 million affected individuals and their families

In 2024, in Savoie, 150 events helped raise €250,000 on site, in addition to more than €700,000 in online donations — contributing to a national total of €96,553,593!

Another successful local event organized by France Travail, with the participation of La Rochette Cartonboard! 💼

On Thursday, November 27, part of our HR team took part in the Job Dating event held at the Fabrice Melquiot Library in Valgelon-La-Rochette.

It was a morning full of interviews and exchanges with many candidates from La Rochette and the surrounding area, eager to learn more about our jobs and employment opportunities.

On Wednesday, November 26, as part of Industry Week, we welcomed five teachers from middle and high schools in Savoie and Isère. This plant tour was organized in partnership with the CGénial Foundation platform, which connects educational institutions with the business world. 🎓💼

The objectives of this visit were to:

✔️ Introduce our company and its history, which dates back to 1873;
✔️ Present the various professions within the paper and cardboard industry;
✔️ Explain our industrial process, which combines tradition, innovation, and environmental responsibility;
✔️ Highlight our French know-how rooted in the local economy;
✔️ Create synergy between companies, the national education system, and the inter-industry skills observatory (OPCO 2i), with the participation of Ms. Christine Bergeon, Training Advisor.

We thank these teachers—true ambassadors—for inspiring and guiding future generations toward careers in the paper and cardboard industry.

In collaboration with the CPAM of Savoie (National Health Insurance), we organized a cancer screening awareness day for our employees on Tuesday, November 25.

Participants were able to test their knowledge through fun and interactive workshops that encouraged discussion.

Ms. Céline SPINACE, CPAM Savoie facilitator, helped debunk common misconceptions, addressed barriers to screening, presented the prevention pathway, and reminded everyone of self-examination techniques.

Screening can save lives.

Let’s stay united in the fight against cancer! 🎗️

Many thanks again to Ms. Spinace and CPAM Savoie!

🤝 Strengthening our partnerships to recruit more effectively!
