Visite of our colleagues – Alp’paper

On Thursday 27 March, we had the pleasure of welcoming our colleagues from the Alp’paper collective, followed by a tour of our plant.

Created at the initiative of AFIFOR / IPC, this working group brings together stakeholders in the paper and cardboard industry in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes with three objectives:

✅ To promote our industry and its know-how

✅ To promote the paper/cardboard professions

✅ To share best practices between companies in the sector and have regular exchanges

🚛 ABB Pulp & Paper visit our site!

On Thursday 13 March, we had the pleasure of welcoming the ABB Pulp & Paper 2025 demonstration truck.

This day was an opportunity for our employees to discover their innovative solutions for optimising the entire paperboard manufacturing process: pulp preparation, management of motors and sensors, quality control and control of installations.

This immersive visit offered a view of an automated, connected and optimised mill, with equipment dedicated to operators and laboratories, all aboard a specially equipped truck.

Thanks to our partner ABB for this demonstration, which attracted the interest of more than 25 employees!

La Rochette moves into action with 8 continuous improvement projects leading to certification!

Since the end of December 2024, we have been running training courses in the fundamentals of Lean Management within our teams, to boost agility, encourage continuous improvement and promote collaboration.

On Tuesday 18 February, 8 continuous improvement projects were presented, enabling project managers to acquire the skills they need to manage both simple and complex initiatives and ensure effective deployment at all levels of the company.

Following these presentations, the belts were conferred:

– 7 Yellow Belt 🟡

– 1 Green Belt Confirmation La Rochette Cartonboard 🟢
